According to Barbara Pachter, business etiquette expert and author of New Rules @ Work (Prentice Hall Press), colleagues should be cautious when having a fling, especially if its going to take place in the office.
If other employees found about their co-workers canoodling, Pachter says it could lead to workplace problems like jealousy, sexual harassment charges, or even job relocation.
Although most workplace lovers dont want to get caught, Pachter says some like living on the edge by having sex in places like empty boardrooms or broom closets.
If youre going to go down this road, Pachter suggest being smart about it and adds, Always lock the door.
She also advises not flaunting your office fling after being swept off your feet in the broom closet, so as to avoid on-the- job drama.
Pachter warns, Dont announce it to everyone or go broadcasting it on Facebook.
