Eric McCormack Persuaded By Talking Dogs

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Emmy-winning actor Eric McCormack will buy anything if it’s being pitched by a talking dog.

McCormack – best known for his role as Will Truman on Will & Grace – plays a man working at a top-notch ad agency on TNT’s new series Trust Me, and admits he’s been swayed by a commercial himself a time or two.

He remembers watching a TV ad for Purina Dog Chow that featured talking dogs and by the time the commercial was over, he was sold.

McCormack laughs, “That was the first commercial I ever loved. I was like, ‘Where did they get those amazing talking dogs? I’ll buy whatever they’re selling right now!’”

Through his latest acting role, McCormack has gained much appreciation for the advertising business, though he wishes those late-night commercials wouldn’t be so convincing.

He adds, “The commercials I love the most always seem to be for things that I’m not in the market for!”

Trust Me premieres Monday (Jan. 26) on TNT.
