The Baby, Come To Me singer doesnt have many backstage diva demands, except for fresh lemons in her dressing room.
Austin needs lemon wedges for her magic voice potion, which consists of brewed tea, honey, cayenne pepper, and lemon.
Unfortunately, her one request often goes sour.
Austin specifically asks for lemon wedges but usually ends up getting slices, which are hard to squeeze into her tea.
The mix-up has gotten so frustrating, she now asks for a whole lemon and a knife instead so she can cut the wedges herself.
She laughs, Im nuts about my lemons!
Austin is proud of her simple request because shes seen how truly demanding divas can be behind-the-scenes.
She once saw a singer freak out and throw a glass of water across the room because there was ice in it, which Austin says was a real awkward moment.
Austin performs this Saturday (Oct. 11), at the 18th Annual Divas Simply Singing HIV/AIDS benefit concert in Los Angeles.
