Where Does George Washington Go?

BOSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Your cash often ends up in weird and unexpected places.

Wheresgeorge.com is a website where users track their cash in order to see whose pockets their dollars pop up in.

Visitors input their bill’s serial number into a database, and stamp it with the site’s web address so finders can log on and tell them where the bill has been.

Creator Hank Eskin says your hard-earned cash shows up “everywhere you can imagine,” with some bills making strange trips in a 24-hour period.

He explains, “We’ll have someone tell us they found a bill at a strip club, then the next day someone else found the same bill in the collection plate at church.”

Eskin says the tracking system has become a favorite hobby for many, with users creating their own games to play.

He says, “They’ll do trading card games with the bills, like collecting ones from all the federal reserves or from all 50 states. It makes it more fun for them.”
