Shia LaBeouf: Original Gangsta?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Shia LaBeouf’s recent run-ins with the law might surprise his fans, but it probably doesn’t shock his former classmates.

The Transformers star admits he wanted to be a gangster growing up so he would fit in better at his elementary school.

He explains, “I was the outcast the minute I showed up at my school. I was the only white kid but I dressed like I wasn’t! I remember shaving all of my hair on my head except for the bangs in the front because that’s how cholos in my neighborhood used to rock their hair. I even cut lines in my eyebrows!”

LaBeouf says his mom would buy him “humongous corduroy pants and black Nikes” to complete his hardcore style.

As he puts it, “I thought I was a little gangster in the fourth grade. My mom played into it too. She understood, and I got beat up less. It all kind of worked out.”
