Jerry Springer: ‘I Have No Talent’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Jerry Springer is completely talentless, but at least he has a job.

For the second season in a row Springer is hosting America’s Got Talent, but the trashy TV titan is the first to admit he’s not exactly talented.

Springer says he has “absolutely no talents” and can’t think of a single thing he does unbelievably well.

He’s taken the occasional guitar, dance, and karaoke lesson before, but has never really mastered a specific talent.

He explains, “There’s nothing I can do where you’d go, ‘Whoa! That guy is good!’ It’s pretty pathetic. To be honest, I think I’m in the wrong business. I just got really lucky.”

Still, Springer is convinced that his lack of talent is what scored him the hosting gig on America’s Got Talent.

He says creator Simon Cowell picked him to host so that the show’s contenders would look exceptionally skilled.

He laughs, “Next to me, they ALL look talented!”

America’s Got Talent season three premieres tomorrow (Jun. 17) on NBC.
