Couple Spend Day Leashed Together

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A married couple in Washington, D.C. learned a tough and binding lesson in togetherness.

Journalists David Plotz and Hanna Rosin have been married for almost 11 years, and recently decided to spend an entire 24 hours within 15 feet of one another.

After reading about a Buddhist couple in Arizona who’ve never been further than 15 feet from one another, even eating off the same plate and using the bathroom together, Plotz and Rosin decided it might be fun to try out.

They cut a 15-foot string, which they kept on at all times, and went about their day, documenting the experiment for

Plotz says, “We did it as a stunt, but it turned out to be surprisingly revealing about our relationship.”

Plotz discovered his wife’s oddball way of reading out email addresses as she types them, while she found his need for a morning Fresca slightly strange.

Though it got annoying at times, Plotz says he’d like to try to do the experiment for a week and encourages other couples to give it a shot.
