New Yorkers Prepare For Water War

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A water war is about to break out in the Big Apple.

Unicorn, a group of mischief makers, is turning New York’s Central Park into a wet and wild playground for the first ever Unicorn Super Soak 2008 this Saturday (Apr. 26).

Attendees will play games like capture the flag and “dodge balloon” – a wet version of dodgeball – while having water hurled at them from trebuchets and balloon launchers.

Unicorn founder and event creator Geoff “Fluff” Grandberg says, “It’s an all out water war and extravaganza. We’ll try to keep it under control, but if it does get crazy, it’ll just be another Woodstock. We’re no strangers to a wild time.”

The water war also gives people the opportunity to be crazy kids again.

Fluff says, “We’ll all be running amok like kids. We have more fun now than we did when we were in high school. When I was 16, I would have never been able to buy implements of mass water destruction.”
