April Fools’ Parade Sends In The Clowns

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Famed media hoaxer Joey Skaggs is expecting plenty of idiots at his 23rd Annual April Fools’ Day (Apr. 1) Parade in New York.

The theme of this year’s foolish festivity is inspired by Woodie Guthrie’s jam “So Long, It’s Been Good To Know You,” and is intended to honor all of the wacky, stupid events and people that made the past year fun for fools.

To that end, the parade will feature tons of celebrity look-a- likes including President Bush and his entire cabinet, who will lead the parade while being chased by an angry, outraged lynch mob.

Celebrity fool Senator Larry Craig will march along the route insisting “I’m not gay!,” while Harry Potter headmaster Albus Dumbledore chants, “I am gay!”

Disruptive political protestor Andrew Meyer will be there surrounded by cops screaming “Don’t tase me, bro!,” while a dazed Britney Spears walks around wondering where she is.

Elaborate, artistic floats will cruise the parade, including the “Dog Fight Float” starring Michael Vick taking bets on his pitbulls, and the “Tourette’s Syndrome Float” featuring bigot blabbermouths Don Imus, Ann Coulter, and Dog The Bounty Hunter all shouting obscenities at the crowd.

Skaggs can’t wait to see how weird this year’s parade gets, and hopes lots of fools join in, ready to laugh at themselves.
