Political Activist Dishes Out Knowledge And Ice Cream

OAKLAND, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Popsicles and politics can go hand-in-hand.

Just ask Aaron Gach, co-founder of the Center for Tactical Magic, a community of magicians, ninjas, locksmiths, and artists that travel around the country in an ice cream truck to spread the word on issues like solar power, health, and anarchism.

The “Tactical Ice Cream Unit” dishes out knowledge and cold treats, and according to Gach, uses ice cream as “an interface where people can meet and discuss a common interest.”

The truck even bumps cool tunes for the public as they cruise down the streets, including “Pop Goes the Weasel” remixed with Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby” and Foreigner’s “Cold as Ice.”

Gach believes that current presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama can learn from his tasty teaching method.

He says, “We’re not force feeding people politics, or sweetening a cause by attaching sugar to it. We’re giving people a choice, and I think the candidates should take a cue from that.”
