A Little Dirt Don’t Hurt

GREAT NECK, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A little dirt don’t hurt, even when it’s rubbed on your body.

Demeter Fragrance is a company that bottles offbeat, outrageous scents like dirt, paint, mildew, and “funeral home.”

Company CEO Mark Crames says their unique aromas are “a personal experience and statement,” and can even help troubled starlets avoid a pesky D.U.I charge.

Crames says, “If you’re out drinking and driving, it’s probably good to have a bottle of Demeter’s Gin and Tonic. You can say, ‘No Officer, I’m not drunk. It’s just my perfume.’ We should give one to Britney Spears.

Though the most popular scent is the nose-friendly baby powder fragrance, Crames says he’s had requests to make blood, foot odor, and roast beef perfumes.

He says, “A lot of what we do is based on what people want, but these scents were all deemed unwearable. Roast beef smells wonderful, but it doesn’t mean it would make a good fragrance.”
