Professional Ghost Hunter Gets Scared On The Job

WARWICK, R.I. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Ghost hunting is a spooky, scary job, but someone has to do it.

That someone is Donna LaCroix, a professional ghost hunter who stars in Sci-Fi’s new reality series Ghost Hunters International, which follows a squad of paranormal researchers as they attempt to uncover startling and spooky otherworldly evidence.

And although LaCroix – who’s the case manager for The Atlantic Paranormal Society and the leader of the Ghost Hunters pack – loves her ghostly gig, she admits that sometimes, she’s completely “scared stiff” on the job.

LaCroix says, “There are definitely times when I want to run out and just be done with ghost hunting. I’ve been scared stiff – especially with weird, paranormal experiences when I know it’s not just my eyes playing tricks on me.”

Still, LaCroix has become a pro at facing her fears.

She adds, “As you become more seasoned at ghost hunting, you learn to control your fear. You have to be tough and use it to your advantage, and get to the bottom of things.”

Ghost Hunters International premieres tonight (Jan. 9) on Sci-Fi.
