Marilu Henner Gets Tough On ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Marilu Henner just learned a valuable lesson: You need tough skin and tons of stamina to work with Donald Trump.

Henner – best known for her role on Taxi, and developing her own diet and health book empire – is one of the stars competing in the first ever Celebrity Apprentice, and she says following in The Donald’s financial footsteps was exhausting.

Henner says, “It takes some real stamina to be Donald’s apprentice. The days started at 4 AM and didn’t end until midnight. I was so stressed I’d only get about two hours of sleep per night. It was tough!”

But despite the grueling gig, Henner believes she held her own in the boardroom.

She says, “I was a big fan of the show already, so I knew the format. I wanted to challenge myself and I definitely did. I loved the spirit and the thrill of the hunt – I showed up to play!”

The Celebrity Apprentice, also starring Gene Simmons, Omarosa, Vincent Pastore, and Stephen Baldwin, premieres January 10 on NBC.
