Think Like An Elephant To Avoid Extinction

SYDNEY (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One author is challenging people to think like an elephant in order to ensure human survival.

Paul Bailey, author of Think of an Elephant: Combining Science and Spirituality for a Better Life (Watkins), says being in tune with the world around us the way elephants are can help Homo sapiens stay off the extinct list.

Bailey says, “People see elephants as these big lumbering animals, but they are so sensitive to the world – they can actually hear through their feet. Acting like an elephant doesn’t help, but being as sensitive to our environment will allow humans to operate better in the world.”

And According to Bailey, adapting, and combining our minds and bodies with the environment is our species’ best bet for survival.

He says, “Dinosaurs weren’t bad animals, but their environment changed and they didn’t. We don’t want another species digging us up and studying us a million years from now, do we?”
