Bruce Cherry runs Back Roads Touring, a London-based tour company that parades its passengers to the citys hidden historical hideways, and this Thanksgiving, hes got a special treat for his American attendants.
The main attraction is the Mayflower Inn, a pub thats right next to the port where the Mayflower was moored, and according to local legend, it was even built with timbers from the beloved boat.
And Americans on the tour tend to make the most out of their pub pilgrimage.
Cherry says, The Americans on board make their own festive atmosphere, and usually have a few extra drinks. And we stop for fish and chips, which is a novel way to celebrate.
But dont look for any bus-bound Brits to ham it up.
He says, We dont celebrate Thanksgiving, but we should. Its when we got rid of you guys!
