Reality TV Geek Experiences His Comic-Con Dream

CINCINNATI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For Beauty and the Geek cast-off Jesse Leary, attending San Diego’s Comic-Con with his fellow contestants was a dream come true.

Leary was eliminated from the show this past Tuesday (Oct. 23), but is glad he was able to participate in the latest Beauty and the Geek challenge where the teams created a superhero persona for their ‘beauties’ and then presented their life-size comic book characters at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Says Leary: “When my partner [Erin Schneider] told me she wanted to be a surfer girl superhero I thought it was a great idea considering she’d never read a comic book before. I was excited about making her costume – complete with a mini surfboard shield to battle the bad guys!”

And presenting his superhero creation at Comic-Con was a fulfilling experience for Leary.

He adds, “Comic-Con was all I ever dreamed it would be and more. It was truly an experience to remember. There were so many crazy people dressed up there, it was awesome!”

Beauty and the Geek airs Tuesdays on The CW.
