Turkey Testicles A Recipe For Romance

BYRON, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Couples ready to take the plunge now have a bold, ballsy option for their bash.

The 29th Annual Turkey Testicle Festival is coming to Byron, Illinois, on October 13, and this year’s event is going to be chock full of love as one couple says their “I dos” amongst the beer and balls.

But according to event organizer Bill Cook, the tasty testes will be kept out of the bride and groom’s mouths.

He says, “I don’t think they’ll have testicles involved. It would probably put a damper on the ceremony. But you never know. The testicles are very appetizing.”

More than 4,000 gonad gobblers and wedding guests will be feasting on 400 pounds of bird balls deep fried to perfection at the event.

And Cook says the surprisingly tender testes are best washed down with an ice cold beer, which also helps the squeamish knock back the turkey balls.

Says Cook: “Some have a few beers before they eat. They need a bit of courage. They don’t immediately think testicles are appetizing, but they’re excellent.”
