‘Survivor’ Cast Off Finds Faith In Far-Away Friends

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Faith and friendship weren’t enough to keep one reality show contestant from getting shipped back to the States.

Leslie Nease was kicked out of the Survivor: China camp this past Thursday (Oct. 4), and while the Christian radio show host is disappointed, she’s happy she stayed clean amidst all the dirty dealings.

Nease says, “I promise you the rain was like living in a pigpen! But as much as you miss food and water and dry clothes, what you really miss is being able to connect with somebody.”

Although Nease found a friend in fellow contestant Courtney Yates, she says, “Unfortunately some people didn’t trust me. But I wasn’t there to deceive people, and I stayed true to myself.”

As for her post China plans, Nease says, “I have four kids, so I’m enjoying being a mom right now. I don’t want to be a movie star!”

Survivor: China airs Thursdays on CBS.
