Fame – Or Failure – Is Only A Double Click Away

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There’s a new shortcut to fame that’s helping aspiring artists hit the big time. is a site that provides up-and-comers with a free venue to get their names out to the industry honchos by allowing people to create a profile, upload their work, and have fans vote on the wanna-be stars.

According to Famesource co-creator Allen Vartazarian, the idea for the online talent show stemmed from the success stories of shows like American Idol.

He says, “I thought, ‘Why isn’t there anything like that on the Internet where the fans decide and can watch all the time?’”

While the show hosts some bonafide Hollywood hopefuls, there’s also plenty of quirky – and questionable – talents, including an ugly man modeling a scandalous Speedo, and another whose dream of modeling is outweighed by crappy clothes and a hideous hairstyle.

Says Vartazarian: “There’s people out there who think they’re good, but unfortunately no one else does.”
