Global Rockers Can’t Agree On Tour Bus Tunes

BRADFORD, England (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – International rockers New Model Army make beautiful music together – just not on their tour bus.

That’s the song being sung by New Model Army frontman, Justin Sullivan, who says while the band rocks in unison on stage, their individual musical tastes couldn’t be more different.

Says Sullivan: “None of us like the same music, so on the tour bus we use our Walkmans because we can’t agree on what songs to play. One time we challenged ourselves to choose the best album in the history of rock and it was a disaster. We couldn’t come up with a single album that we all loved equally!”

But despite the band’s varied musical influences, they’ve all come to agree on one thing – how to make music.

Sullivan explains, “We all go through the same creative process when it comes to making music, like focusing on the rhythm in a song and really highlighting it. We collect ideas for our lyrics and music, scribble them on paper, and dump them in a cupboard for later inspiration. Our common goal is to always tell a story through our music.”

New Model Army’s latest album, High, hits U.S. stores September 4, and their U.S. tour kicks off in Philadelphia September 5.
