Antique Undies Are The New Craze In War Wear

OAK PARK, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Antique undies are becoming the new craze in battle fashion.

That’s according to Kathy Henry, who runs period costume website, and says a nice pair of antique skivvies will help any soldier with his performance on the battlefield, especially the 700 participants of an infamous Civil War Re-enactment, being held in Greenbush, Wisconsin, September 29-30.

The revivalists involved in the re-enactment wear Civil War- era army uniforms, but whether or not they throw on old timey tighty whities is unknown.

Henry says, “Period underwear are more comfortable for battle because they’re breathable and won’t stick, which makes running and fighting a whole lot easier.”

And though the dated undies can improve your fighting skills, Henry recommends keeping your options open.

Henry says, “You always want something close to your body, no matter what period your in. Linen was the best underwear fabric, but there are more options today which people should consider.”
