So Your Mom Thinks She Can Dance

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – So You Think You Can Dance cast-off Kameron Bink faced some harsh judges during the competition, but his toughest critic was his mom.

Bink – who was eliminated from the show this past Thursday (July 26) – says when he wasn’t being critiqued by Nigel Lythgoe or Mary Murphy, his mom was dishing advice about his moves, because – what else? – she thinks she can dance.

Says Bink: “My mom honestly thinks she can dance and she has been correcting my dancing since I was a kid. She’s always like, ‘Move your arms this way, Kameron,’ or ‘Leap more like this.’ My mom is a big woman, but she’ll leap through the air just to show me how she thinks it should be done!”

Bink’s groovin’ mama didn’t discontinue her dancing advice while he was on the show – in fact, she was more like an extra judge for Bink to please.

He adds, “My mom would call me after each show and agree with the judges and say, ‘You know Kameron, the judges were right. You should’ve kicked your leg higher, it would’ve looked better.’ And I’d say, ‘Mom, that dance isn’t even supposed to have a kick in it!”’

So You Think You Can Dance airs Wednesdays and Thursdays.
