Cleaning Company Has Some Weird Junk In The Trunk

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One person’s trash is truly another person’s treasure, no matter how weird the junk is.

That’s the motto of a franchise company called 1-800-Got- Junk, which offers junk pick-up services around the country.

Over the years, the folks who take away the trash have found everything from a working mechanical bull and sex dolls made out of chicken wire, to 19 truckloads of expired ice cream.

And as Ben Hoskins, who operates the San Diego franchise puts it, summer is a great time for the weird junk biz, since people have more time on their hands and are “forced to deal with their junk.”

Hoskins has personally hauled away trashy items such as two truckloads of pornography, a real coffin the owner claimed was a Halloween prop, a basement-full of Civil War muskets, and a unicorn-shaped coffee table.

Says Hoskins, “Sometimes, you just don’t know what to say when you have to haul out really weird stuff from someone’s home. We always keep it professional on the job, but I’m sure some guys have gotten in the truck after finding something really weird and had a good chuckle. It’s part of the fun of the job; it’s like having a really weird Christmas every day!”
