Phoenix, Arizona: America’s Sweatiest City

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Phoenix, Arizona, is one of America’s most sizzlin’ hot spots – literally.

For the fourth time in six years, Phoenix has been dubbed “America’s Sweatiest City” by Old Spice deodorant, beating out other scorching cities like Las Vegas, Dallas, and Tucson, Arizona, for the top honors.

Turns out the average temperature in Phoenix during the summer is more than 94 degrees, which means the average Phoenix resident produces more than 26 ounces of sweat per hour!

To keep em’ cool, Old Spice will reward the town for its proliferation of perspiration by giving a year’s supply of deodorant to the city mayor.

And while Phoenix is the hottest of them all, profusely perspiring places in Texas also dominate this year’s list, with Dallas, San Antonio, Waco, Austin, and Corpus Christy; all making it into the Top 10.

Meanwhile, San Francisco is still the “least sweaty city” in America, with a cool average temperature of just above 64 degrees, beating out Portland, Maine, and Seattle, Washington.
