UFC Champion Keeps His Head And Fists In The Game

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Many Ultimate Fighting Champions have become big celebrities, but the latest UFC champ, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, just wants to keep his head – and fists – in the game.

Rampage – who fearlessly knocked out reigning champ Chuck Liddell to win the Light Heavyweight title on May 26th – says even if his star rises with movie and endorsement deals as it has for fellow fighters Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, and Tito Ortiz, he’ll still keep his main focus in the ring.

Says Rampage: “Fighting is my life and I want to be the best at it, all the time. I’d rather go up to the mountains, secluded from everything, and train for my next fight over anything else.”

And while Rampage loves duking it out in the UFC ring, he admits the only way he’ll fight someone is if the price is right.

Rampage adds, “It always depends on how much I get paid, you know? I don’t like to do anything for free. These hands gotta last me the rest of my fighting career, so I have to save them for the fights that really matter.”
