Game Show Network Honors Charles Nelson Reilly

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Funny man Charles Nelson Reilly may be long gone, but his classic game show antics won’t be easily forgotten.

Reilly – who passed away last Friday (May 25) – was one of the most beloved game show panelists ever to grace the tube, and starting Saturday (June 2), the Game Show Network will air a Match Game marathon of Reilly’s funniest panelist appearances.

GSN spokeswoman Cindy Ronzoni says the 20-episode marathon will include shows from 1973 to 1982 that showcase Reilly’s most hilarious work on the game show.

This means you can expect to see Reilly’s animated gestures, crazy answers, sassy dance moves, impromptu singing, and fun fights with comedienne and fellow Match Game alum Brett Somers.

And the episodes won’t be without their share of outrageous clothing that made up Reilly’s signature style.

Says Ronzoni: “The marathon will remind the world of the charisma and silliness that Mr. Reilly exuded. We want to honor his legacy as an amazing entertainer and person.”
