Starbucks Grinds Out New Band

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Making coffee the right way has its perks, like increasing alertness – and landing a record deal.

That’s the coffee talk behind the band Until June’s espresso success story.

Turns out lead singer Josh Ballard was discovered by a talent agent while working as a barista at Starbucks, and the rest is sweet history.

Ballard explains, “We wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for Starbucks!”

As it grinds out, Ballard put just the right amount of sugar in music producer Brian Garcia’s iced venti Americano.

He says it took 18 packets of Equal to get Garcia’s java perfect, and Garcia then took notice that Ballard was a musician.

This all happened to Ballard just in time too, since June was the band’s deadline for making it big or giving up and going back to college.

Until June’s self-titled debut album is in record stores now.
