‘YouTube’ Starlet Thinks Outside The Box, Lands Record Deal

PHILADELPHIA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Thinking outside the box just proved to be very rewarding for one wannabe starlet on YouTube.com.

Singer Leah “Bunny” Kauffman has become an instant Internet star in the past few months after posting a song on YouTube titled “My Box In A Box,” in response to Justin Timberlake’s Saturday Night Live sketch “My Dick In A Box.”

Now Kauffman’s music video is one of the top viral videos of all time and she’s even landed a record deal to produce more musical parodies in the future.

Says Kauffman: “I never expected people to like my video so much. I thought they would laugh and then forget about it but we’re still getting 25,000 hits a day – it’s crazy!”

As a newly signed artist, Kauffman plans on continuing her YouTube music videos and admits she’ll be looking to celebrities for inspiration.

She explains, “I feel kind of bad, but celebs are so much fun to spoof. Stars better watch their backs or they’ll end up on my videos!”

But Kauffman won’t stop at celebrities.

In fact, Kauffman’s next video release is a song about her having a major crush on Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

She hopes her fans enjoy the new video and maybe even get inspired to vote more in the upcoming 2008 elections.
