Women Bond In Bathrooms The Most

HOUSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Guys, you might think a restroom is a place to answer nature’s call, but, for women, it’s where they get answers for life’s more important questions.

Or so says Jo Barrett, author of The Men’s Guide To The Women’s Bathroom (Harper Collins), which gives a behind-the-scenes look of what really goes on behind closed doors of women’s bathrooms.

Unlike the men’s room, Barrett says the women’s bathroom is a “secret confessional, where women bond, discuss and form a community of trust,” – and get advice.

For instance, while researching the book, Barrett met a woman who told her the best advice came during a ladies’ room rendezvous when a woman told her: “Honey, don’t be a welcome mat to a man, be the door he’s lucky to walk through.”

Barrett also says the bathroom is where she learned her most valuable lesson about men: They don’t marry eager women.

Since the advice found in the women’s room is universal, Barrett believes it’s one of the most comfortable places for women to approach other women.

Says Barret: “Nobody ever tells anyone to mind their own business in the ladies room. Conversations include every woman in there.”
