On TV, that is.
Prepon’s latest role is playing the single mother of a 9 year-old boy on the new ABC drama, October Road.
She admits that she didn’t expect to jump back into TV so soon after the end of That ’70s Show, but says the show’s script was so good that she fell in love with her character.
As she puts it, “I got the script just two weeks after That ’70s Show wrapped, and while I didn’t want to jump back into TV, my agent – who’s been with me for 11 years – knows what I like.”
Prepon is happy she made the decision and has especially enjoyed working with Slade Pearce, the actor who plays her son.
She says he’s helped her adjust to playing a mommy character because, in her words, “He’s really cool. We just hang out.”
October Road debuts March 15.
