Lori Loughlin Hopes New Sitcom Has Happy Ending

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Lori Loughlin is excited about her new sitcom, In Case Of Emergency, but she admits she’s nervous about its chances of success.

Loughlin – who played Becky Donaldson on Full House – loves the show and is happy with the reaction it’s received so far, but is keeping her fingers crossed that ABC will have faith in it.

She admits: “It’s a brand new show and it’s scheduled against American Idol, so it may need some time to find an audience.”

Loughlin plays a doctor on the sitcom, which also stars David Arquette and Jonathan Silverman, and she has enjoyed her scenes with Arquette, who becomes a candy striper in order to put the moves on her.

She also enjoyed her chemistry with her fellow female cast member, Kelly Hu, who plays a masseuse known for her “happy endings.”

In her words, “I loved this one scene where I go to her looking for a serious massage, and she explains that she works in a whorehouse. The writers let me ad-lib a punchline so I told her, ‘How could I be so stupid? You’re dressed like a hooker?”’

In Case Of Emergency airs Wednesday nights.
