New York And Memphis ‘Idol’ Contestants Have Good Chance To Make Finals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Although the American Idol finalists haven’t been officially announced, one fan of the show thinks at least six of the finalists appeared on this week’s episodes.

Joe Blackmon, who edits, is handicapping the finalists by searching for domain names of every singer invited to Hollywood.

He speculates that Fox keeps such a tight fist around the show’s web presence that execs register domain names for certain candidates they suspect to reach the finals.

At least six contestants receiving golden tickets in Memphis and New York had domain names registered right after the November auditions.

Those candidates are best friends Amanda Coluccio and Antonella Barba, opera singer Rachel Zevita and “Rocky”-inspired Porcelana Patino.

Jenry Bejarano and Jason “Sundance” Head also have private domains.

However, Blackmon has no idea if Nicholas Pedro – who bowed out of the competition last season – will make it to the finals this time around because he already had a website before auditioning.
