Even if it means fighting off cheesy guys at bars alone.
The two-time Bachelor star says shes gone on a steady stream of dates ever since the shows aired and admits her reality TV past has made for some awkward conversations.
She explains: Nobody knows how to talk to me about [the shows], which I think is weird. I mean, I was the one who went on the show I dont mind talking about it.
One thing she does mind is the cheesy pick-up lines guys try out on her.
Says Schefft: A lot of girls will tell their guy friends I was on the show if they recognize me. I get a lot of guys coming up to me asking me all smooth Would I have gotten a rose? Its pretty funny.
Despite this, Schefft says shes perfectly happy living the single life and shares her dating wisdom in the new book, Better Single Than Sorry: A No-Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling (HarperCollins).
