Margaret Cho: ‘I’m A Good Asian Driver’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Margaret Cho is doing her part to end Asian stereotypes – one driver at a time.

The comedian says she has no idea where the racial stereotype about Asians being bad drivers began, and says she’s completely in control when she gets behind the wheel.

As she puts it, “I’m a very good driver – I can’t figure it out but I’m trying hard to represent.”

Although she’s trying to make the roads safer for all Asians, she admits some stereotypes will never die.

Case in point: Cho was happy to learn that fellow Korean- American Yul Kwon used his brain to win the most recent Survivor.

Says Cho: “I have to admit I was surprised the Asians didn’t figure out a way to make a computer on the island or something.”

Cho is breaking down barriers by playing Anthony Anderson’s wife on the Fox sitcom ‘Til Death. Her first appearance is set for January 18.
