‘Knights Of Prosperity’ Producers Don’t Let Adversity Get Them Down

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Looks like the producers of the new ABC sitcom The Knights Of Prosperity are just as optimistic as the show’s characters.

The show concerns a group of wannabe crooks led by series star Donal Logue who band together to rob a celebrity and was originally titled Let’s Rob Mick Jagger.

However, the title has since been changed and the show was pulled from the fall schedule and will now debut January 3.

Series creator Rob Burnett doesn’t think the setbacks have helped him better relate to the cast of loveable losers.

As he puts it, “I’m not sure if the problems of network runners or stars relate that much to a toilet scrubber in Queens.”

Still, he says the show – which will feature cameos by Mick Jagger, Kelly Ripa and Ray Romano – has taught him enough about how to rob a celebrity that he figures to make a mint even if the series is canceled.
