Penn Jillette: Lousy At His Own Game

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Penn Jillette is hosting a new game show, Identity, but don’t ask him to play it.

The game requires players to look at 12 contestants and guess each person’s unique qualities based solely on first impressions.

Jillette is enjoying the show – and feels his professional experience as a carny and a magician have prepared him for the job of game show host.

But not for playing the actual game.

Jillette admits, “I suck at this game. I’ve been forced to rethink my judgments. But I WAS getting better by the end of tapings.”

He admits he was especially good at picking the alligator wrestlers and sword swallowers but bad at picking the accountants and mayors.

Identity runs for five nights starting Monday (Dec. 18) and Jillette predicts it will become a big hit because, he points out, “People automatically play this game everytime they’re at the mall.”
