Kenan Thompson Swears Off ‘F-Word,’ Including ‘Ph- ’Version

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Kenan Thompson’s fans may love his sarcastic characters on Saturday Night Live, or maybe his title role as the lovably rotund movie version of Fat Albert – but don’t use the F-word around him.

Thompson says even he doesn’t use the “F-Word,” despite his biggest film role so far having it in the title.

But Thompson admits that “fat” can be funny, even if he refuses to use the epithet whenever possible.

In his words: “I think smashing tables is funny; and if making it a big guy [like Chris Farley or John Belushi] makes it more extreme – so be it.”

But, he adds: “As far as making you the outcast just ‘cause you’re larger, I try not to ever use that word – not even the ‘ph’ version.”

SNL has its season premiere on Saturday (Sept. 30).
