Ringwald: No Plans To Reenact ‘Breakfast Club’ Dance Moves For ‘Sweet Charity’

BOISE, Idaho (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Molly Ringwald was the It Girl of ’80s teen flicks, but don’t ask the actress to reenact her performances post-adolescence – especially her dance moves from The Breakfast Club.

Ringwald is kicking off a cross-country tour of the musical Sweet Charity on Tuesday (Sept. 12) in San Diego, and she says the show is both vocally and physically demanding – requiring warmups before she hits the stage.

She says, however, she has no problem sticking to the choreography instead of breaking into the infamously white-bread Breakfast Club dance moves from the John Hughes classic.

Says Ringwald: “There’s no way I’m going to be doing that dance because I would probably break my back.”

She also has no intention of singing the film’s theme song “Don’t You Forget About Me” during warmups.
