Russian Guitar God Out To Save World From Terrorism – And Promoters

PHEONIX (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A guitar virtuoso from Russia says he wants to fight terrorism – but he would rather do it on stage than on the battlefield – no matter what his promoter tells him.

That’s what Anton Tsygankov (sigh-gankoff) claims – and he should know, he’s spent much of his life touring the world’s “most dangerous cities” bringing ear- splitting hard rock to war-torn residents.

Tsygankov says his most important shows are for people “just very tired to [their] souls” of insurgent warfare.

In his words: “It is scary, yes, the most dangerous places to play – and the promoters always tell you it’s safe, promoters are all alike everywhere, but [it’s] not safe [at] all sometimes.”

But, says Tsygankov, his anti-terrorist guitar assaults are “always making the people in those places the happiest – any music is good to them.”

His debut album is called ANTI - The Anton Tsygankov Project, and he’s currently touring, “not just to play benefit, but to make money for second record, too.”
