Astrologers Taking Ceres Very Seriously

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Astronomers are considering adding three new planets to the solar system but only one of them will have an effect on astrological charts.

That’s the starry-eyed prediction of astrologer Joyce Levine, who says the proposed planet of Ceres – which is located between Mars and Jupiter – is associated with fertility, food and taking care of the family.

Levine says Ceres may eventually replace Mercury as the ruling planet of the astrological sign Virgo.

In her words, “It’s a better fit because Ceres and Virgo are both associated with work and labor.”

Meanwhile, Levine says the other two proposed planets, Charon and Xena, have such long orbits that their effects will be generational, not personal.

But you might want to wait a little while before asking an astrologer how the new planets affect your chart.

The International Astronomical Union won’t announce whether Ceres, Charon and Xena are actually planets until next Thursday (Aug. 24).
