‘Big Brother’ Bootee Kaysar Feels He’s Bridging Cultures

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Kaysar Ridha may have been booted of Big Brother: All Stars but he feels the Arab-American community is the real winner.

Ridha, who is originally from Iraq, has long been a fan favorite and says that the response he has received from viewers has been “amazing,” considering how many Arab-Americans are being labeled as terrorists.

As he puts it, “Big Brother has been a bridge – sort of an ambassador – between cultures and there has been a lot of support, backing and sympathy from Americans.”

Ridha is so appreciative of the goodwill from reality show fans that he now wants to continue showing the positive side of being an Iraqi-American as an actor.

In his words, “I want to stay in TV. I’ve been taking acting classes and I want to keep my face out there.”

But while Ridha wants to find work as an actor, he admits he doesn’t want to “tarnish” his positive image and, therefore, has no interest in playing terrorists “or any role as a vilified Arab or vilified Muslim.”
