Dancer Criticized For Being ‘Fake’ Faces The Music

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The dancers on So You Think You Can Dance try to play it cool on stage but one Dance dumpee says she can’t help but get emotional.

Natalie Fotopoulos, who was eliminated from the show on Thursday (Aug. 3), has been criticized throughout the series for her “contrived” facial expressions.

But Fotopoulos disagrees and argues that her facial expressions are anything but fake.

As she puts it, “I don’t practice my looks in front of a mirror before I dance – my face just does what I’m feeling, emotionally, while I’m dancing.”

During her performance on Wednesday night (Aug. 2), judges suggested that Fotopoulos try and be more “organic” and natural in her dancing.

In Fotopoulos’ words, “Now that I have some time on my hands, I am going to grow my own garden so I can learn to be more organic.”
