‘Rock Star’ Reject Admits She’s ‘Not Ready’ To Front Supernova

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s not easy being kicked off a TV talent show like Rock Star: Supernova but singer Dana Andrews thinks it’s for the best.

Andrews is the latest Rock Star reject and she admits she’s “not ready” to front a supergroup heading out on an international tour.

However, she says the boot camp situation gave her confidence that she’s on the right track.

Now, the 22-year-old singer is heading back to Augusta, Georgia, where she will perform with her old band, Everything After, and figures she will use her time on the show to make the group’s sound “grittier.”

Meanwhile, some insiders feel that the comments made by Tommy Lee to the female singers about their looks smack of sexism, Andrews disagrees.

As she puts it, “The band is straight. I wouldn’t expect them to compliment a guy on how he looks. Plus, if you’re wearing a leopard-print corset and fishnet stockings, you’d better expect someone to comment.”
