Retired Boomers Offer Bush Tips On Being 60

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – President George W. Bush turns 60 today (July 6) and while that may seem old, some Baby Boomers who’ve passed the big 6-0 beg to differ.

In fact, the Boomers who live in Del Webb active adult communities around the U.S. insist the age is just a number and some are even offering him tips on how to handle the next 30 or 40 years.

For instance, a man in Georgetown, Texas, reminds the President to take the advice of ballplayer Satchel Paige and ask himself, “How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you was?”

Meanwhile, a man in Voorhees, New Jersey, suggests the President remember this: “Life is uncertain so eat dessert first.”

A woman in Las Vegas suggests the Prez take up ballroom dancing; while a man in Ocala, Florida, thinks “Dubya” should start playing pickleball.

Finally, there’s the man in Georgetown, Texas, who says the key to staying active in old age is simple: “Don’t go hunting with the Vice President.”
