Tupac Relics Up For Auction

SILVER SPRING, Md. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Here’s the perfect gift to wrap up for the Tupac Shakur fan who has it all: a “personal relic display.”

That’s one of the items up for auction online starting next Tuesday (Apr. 11) by the website.

The relic tray, which is estimated to sell for as much as $10,000 – features his handwritten lyrics, a Rolling Stone magazine cover and a sketch of a single eye shedding a tear – all in a glass frame.

Ten grand might be a steep price to pay but auction Anu Karnik Kelly says the folks who buy this type of pop culture paraphernalia tend to be “a combination of collectors and fanatics.”

But the Tupac treasures aren’t the only celebrity goodies on the auction block.

Frank Sinatra’s first driver’s license is valued at $50,000 and Thomas Edison’s signed patent for his first light bulb could burn $100,000 in the pocket of one collector.
