Is Colin Farrell Really Irish?

DUBLIN (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Colin Farrell is always exuding Irish charm, but the man’s an actor. How do we know if he’s really Irish?

Dublin-based Myriam Hooper – who manages the website – insists, “He’s definitely Irish,” and says she knows the exact neighborhood he’s from in Dublin.

If you don’t believe her, she says that the site’s resident genealogist could easily trace and verify Farrell’s ancestry.

More importantly, she says, determining your own roots will tell you “whether you’re related to Colin Farrell or not,” which would be helpful to ladies who are interested in the Irish Casanova but don’t want to date their own relative.

If you want to find out just how Irish you are before St. Paddy’s Day (Mar. 17), Hooper says you can use free recommendations from the website or pay $39.95 and have the genealogist do it for you.

You may be surprised to find you have links to other famous people with Irish roots such as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Gregory Peck or revolutionary Che Guevara, whose grandmother was Irish.
