Twiggy Branches Out On New Season Of ‘America’s Next Top Model’

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When it comes to choosing models, ’60s pop culture phenomenon Twiggy knows a thing or two about the industry.

So the veteran model, who has been in the business 40 years, didn’t think twice about signing on as a judge for the UPN reality show, America’s Next Top Model.

The British beauty says she had never seen the show before she was on it and had no idea she would be following the infamous Janice Dickinson as a celebrity panelist.

Twiggy’s approach is a little less aggressive. As she puts it, “I try to be firm and if they are rude I can be quite strong.”

While all of the judges have different views on what makes a “Top Model,” Twiggy says she looks for “someone new, different and innovative” who looks good on camera.

Twiggy also says that host Tyra Banks is not the diva she is sometimes portrayed as and that she does “a really good London accent - she can do me perfectly.”

America’s Next Top Model begins its sixth season Wednesday (Mar. 8).
