Craig Davies runs dirtgeneral.com, which connects people with a whole lot of dirt and people who need dirt to fill a hole.
The website seeks to eliminate trucking costs by connecting people in close geographic proximity with one another to share excess dirt.
Davies, a professional excavator, broke ground on the project a few months ago.
He says any kind of dirt is welcome, wet dirt, dry dirt, clay dirt and even gravel, any filler that isnt organic.
The only kind of dirt he wont consider is stolen dirt, but he trusts that dirt sharers will conduct dirt transactions within the legal boundaries of their respective states.
But even though dirtgeneral.com is becoming the first name in mud, Davies refuses to dirty his hands by actually collecting the dirt himself.
