Stephanie March Makes ‘Conviction’ A Real ‘Lunch And Order’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Stephanie March is happy to be returning to the Law & Order fold with her upcoming new drama, Conviction, but her hubby is not happy about it.

At least where her lunch is concerned.

March, who will reprise her Law & Order: SVU character Alexandra Cabot on the new NBC courtroom drama, is married to celebrity chef Bobby Flay and admits when he stopped by on set recently, he wasn’t thrilled with her dietary options.

She laughs, “He took one look at the catering and said, ‘I’m not sending you to work without a packed lunch.’”

However, March has no complaints about the scripts. The new show requires her to be a mentor to a staff of up-and-coming assistant district attorneys and she likes how her character “dispenses advice but still has a lot to learn.”

Conviction debuts March 3 on NBC.
