Eric Dickerson Running For Beer On Super Bowl Sunday

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Pro Football Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson is doing a little charity work on Super Bowl Sunday where if you buy, he’ll fly.

Dickerson is part of a celebrity charity auction for Miller Lite where he’ll be the “beer runner” at the winning bidder’s Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5) party.

The money raised goes to the California-based rehab hospital Casa Colina Foundation – a physical rehabilitation center, not a rehab for alcohol addiction.

The former running back’s duties include bringing guests pizza, wings and Miller Lite. The gig also entails grabbing brews from the fridge for thirsty revelers and going on a beer run should the party run out of suds.

Dickerson says “I’m hoping they have enough,” because he doesn’t want to have to run to the store and miss the game.

But he’s no stranger to being a beer runner.

He says he occasionally got stuck with the task in college, but in his words, “We didn’t call them beer runners. We called them slaves.”

The auction ends Feb. 2 on eBay.
